Ashlyn Bland joined the British Skeleton set up through the Girsl4Gold recruitment campaign looking to identify potential female medalists for the 2026 and 2030 Olympic Winter Games in the spring of 2021.
Ashlyn made her international debut in December 2022 when she finished eighth in a 28-strong field in Bludenz.
She featured five times in all in her debut season, coming 11th and 12th in Sigulda in January before matching those results in Igls a month later.
Ashlyn raced 10 times in all in her second season on ice, competing on the EC circuit on eight occasions and twice in North American Cup competition. Her standout result came in the final EC race of the year when she won bronze in Igls in February 2024.
