The first World Cup competition of the 2022/23 sliding season was a stunning one for both the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton teams as they came away with no fewer than five medals in just three days.
Marcus Wyatt, Brogan Crowley and Matt Weston secured an historic hat-trick for British Skeleton with a full house on Thursday night and into the early hours of Friday morning as they won gold, silver and bronze respectively in Canada.
Brad Hall and Taylor Lawrence then followed their lead with a superb silver in Taylor's first-ever 2-man race on Friday night, before Greg Cackett and World Cup debutant Arran Gulliver backed that up with a second bobsleigh silver in the 4-man event 24 hours later.
It marked the most successful ever World Cup meet for the British teams and, hopefully, sets the platform for a successful season as a whole.
