In pics: World Championships - Skeleton

The first week of the World Championships was a history making one for the British Skeleton team in Lake Placid.

Matt Weston became the first British athlete to win multiple World Championship crowns after he regained the title he first won in 2023; Marcus Wyatt claimed silver to ensure GB celebrated two athletes on the same World Champs podium for the very first time; and then Weston linked up with Tabby Stoecker to win a second successive team silver in the States.
