Konigssee in pics

Race 6 of the World Cup season took place in Konigssee at the weekend as the globe's best sliders returned to arguably the most picturesque venue on the circuit.

The standout result saw Brad Hall and Greg Cackett back up their 2-man silver medal from Igls with another wider podium finish on Saturday, before they secured a top ten spot in the 4-man with Luke Dawes and Taylor Lawrence 24 hours later.

As with all the World Cup races, our official photographer, Viesturs Lācis, was on hand to capture the best of the action. And, with a stunning lake at the bottom of the track and mountains all around, he picked up some pretty eye-catching images throughout the week.
